1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pawz Meet ("PawzMeet," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform. These Terms apply to all users of our website and mobile applications.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Pawz Meet. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. Users who indicate they are under 18 are blocked from accessing the platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your information updated. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Pawz Meet to violate any law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others. The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and permanent ban from the platform:

• Human trafficking, including sexual exploitation, forced labor, or any form of trafficking of persons
• Aiding, abetting, or encouraging abuse of any kind, including child abuse, domestic violence, or exploitation of vulnerable individuals
• Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors (CSAM), including grooming, solicitation, or predatory communication targeting minors
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, or sharing intimate content of another person without their explicit consent
• Prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking, or solicitation of sexual services
• Harassment, stalking, threats, bullying, or hate speech
• Violence, incitement to violence, or terrorism
• Illegal drug sales, weapons trafficking, or any illegal trade
• Fraud, scams, money laundering, or deceptive practices
• Impersonation or creating fake profiles — you must represent your real identity
• Sharing personal information of others without consent (doxxing)
• Spam, bots, automated scraping, or malware distribution
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Any attempt to circumvent age verification or other platform safety controls

5. Profiles and User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post on Pawz Meet, including profile information, photos, messages, and posts. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct.

6. Verification and Safety

We offer voluntary identity verification to help ensure profile authenticity. Users may submit government-issued ID for verification. We use age verification gates during onboarding to prevent minors from accessing the platform. We provide in-app reporting and blocking tools so users can flag suspicious or harmful behavior. Our admin team reviews reports and takes action against accounts that violate our policies.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Pawz Meet offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial, after which your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Payments are processed by Stripe (web), Google Play Billing (Android), or Apple App Store (iOS). Refunds are subject to the applicable platform's refund policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Pawz Meet, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Pawz Meet and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or our policies. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Pawz Meet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the account holder resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Pawz Meet will be resolved in the appropriate courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Pawz Meet after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
